As said in yesterday’s workshop posting we spent the weekend in the Vienna area. Main reason was of course the wedding on Saturday of Stephanie and Stephan in Klosterneuburg.
We have not met them before and they booked us right away without talking to us at all. That can be a really dangerous thing for all of us btw. Is the chemistry working? Are we nice guys? But turns out, that they knew us quite well and that they were following our work during the past so for them it was clear that we should fit together.
Also some of the guests talked to us as if we had met several times before. In case we have not said that often enough, we LOVE social media and its power. It brings us closer to people and that means so much in our job.
We felt so comfortable right from the beginning and that did not change the whole day. From getting ready to the final shot at night we had really a lot of fun and nice conversations. What a lovely couple!
And besides the very nice and friendly people at the wedding, the style was very cool too. Steffi and Stephan had planned a little brake in the afternoon where everyone could change the clothes. Men changed from Cutaways to Smoking’s, the Ladies from beautiful dresses to even more beautiful ones.
We haven’t had the chance yet to do a wedding in Klosterneuburg but to be honest with you, this is a freaking wonderful place for a wedding. Besides the stunning architecture of the Stift Klosterneuburg, the nature and wine yards in that area are extremely beautiful. And luckily, we were blessed with great weather as well.
During a three hours break after the agape and reception we had plenty of time to drive around with the Mini and shoot the formals. Both of them are laid back and easy going so for us it could not have been better that day. We want to thank Stephanie and Stephan for the super nice day we could spent with them and their guests. Hope to meet you soon again and we wish you all the best for your future!
Here are some shots from the whole day coverage and if you are keen to wait a little bit, we will come up with a Fusion as well. So stay tuned.
Love
Carmen and Ingo
